What are you creating?

I've known this for years now, but reading this exact quote this morning made me feel compelled to write a post about it.  It's so straight to the point, and so very true!  I've had quite a few clients these days who are unhappy with major aspects of their lives at the moment.  The good news is that you get to change it.  It's like this other quote I've seen floating around: "If you don't like where you are, move.  You are not a tree!" 

Do you like the person you are?  Do you like what's going on in your life?  If the answer is no to either of those questions, the solution is the same regardless... Work on yourself!

You don't realize how much power you really hold until you stop looking at things on the outside and do the work within. 


I'm a firm believer in the law of attraction, because I've seen it in action.  I experience it every day, and so do you, even if you don't realize.  Of course, if you don't like aspects of who you are, it's obvious that it's up to you to do the work and change these things.  But what about the situations that happen in your life?  What about the things you have no control over? (Or so you think).  How can working on yourself change anything?  Well here's the truth my dear.  You attract things (people, situations, opportunities) that match the vibration you are currently in.  Sometimes the vibration comes directly from you, and sometimes it can be your surroundings.  Let me give you a clear example.

Lets say you seem to be constantly living a life full of drama.  Some people seem to like it but lets assume you don't and want a better and more peaceful life for yourself.  How can working on yourself help with people and situations around you?  Simple.  First of all, look at your thoughts and the words you speak... Are you feeding into it?  Are you constantly speaking of that drama, thinking about it, focusing on it?  If so, change your mindset and focus on being positive, and on things that bring you peace.  The more you focus on peace, the more you will start attracting peace in your life.  Perhaps you are trying really hard to focus on positivity but situations keep arising, then you may need to look at who you surround yourself with.  If your environment is toxic, so will be your life! 

Your thoughts are constantly creating your reality.  And working on your thoughts really mean you're working on yourself.  Remember, you attract things at the level you are/think/speak/surround yourself. 

Four years ago, I was miserable and felt stuck.  But I wasn't stuck.  I was just scared to make the tough changes because it required to turn my life (the one of my family) upside down.  But I knew we all deserved better.  I worked on myself so much in these last four years, and it wasn't easy at times.  I had to change so many mindsets (and I still find more to work on), had to let go/distance myself of many people in my life, moved, etc.   But it was so worth it!  Little by little, my life changed in the most amazing ways.  I'm not going to lie and pretend it's all perfect, it's not.  There's still so many things that I want to improve on myself and my life, but I truly am grateful for how things are now and I see how far I've come.  And it IS beautiful!

Everything I am and what I have (aka where I'm at in life), is because of the work I've done on myself and the changes I've made.  And it all started with changing my thoughts.
